Tickle Party tells the story of two Fuzzies on an adventure to spread happiness with the moral that more treasures are received from tickling than from poking! Microsoft commissioned FriendsWithYou to produce a video art piece for a new campaign attempting to connect fine art to their new music player. The piece was produced around the concept of sharing, Zunes distinct feature, with the intention of gaining market recognition with tech-saavy consumers and to distinguish Microsoft Zune from its competitors. The video was created through mixed media, fully filmed analog puppetry, and minimal computer graphics. The designs were also used for downloadable computer wallpapers, blueprints for flat-pack toys, limited edition skins and product packaging.
