I didn't know Donnie Darko played such a mean fuzz. Well done.

Are you playing "Naked and Red" by Colour Revolt? If so, you are the greatest person ever to live.

@ampsurgeon Thanks for the info. I was just wondering. You know how "colorful" other fuzz effect names can be. i.e. Big Muff & Swollen Pickle.

@ampsurgeon sorry man! i though this was the updated version, my bad ;)

Sounds like arse. Tubescreamers are way crazier when you think of it. Especially with some light compression.

You're thinking of the FY-6. Totally different pedal.

Does the "FY" in FY-2 and FY-6 stand for what I think it stands for?

@jkretch72
I doubt it. FY-2 and FY-6 are the same model numbers used by the Shin-ei Company in the 1960's for the guitar pedals on which the Wattson pedals are based. The FY-2 was commonly called the "Companion fuzz" because it was sold under Shin-ei's Companion brand. The FY-6 was sold under many brands, the most notable was the Univox Super-Fuzz. The numbers 2 and 6 refer to the number of transistors in the original circuit.
