I love my mets... 2006 was so great. To be the big bad scary team was something I was never used to. (I chose the Jets obviously) I look back and think that was it. What if Beltran swung that bat? I'll never forget where I was when I saw that last pitch. Burlington North Carolina. It ripped my guts out

BELTRAN WAS A BUM! MINAYA RUINED THIS TEAM by playing Culture War with a Latino Majority Team. It's one thing to have a Latino team, but let them be GOOD ONES! If he had 9 players of the caliber remotely close to Keith Hernandez, I'd say GREAT! This team didn't, and it showed with two straigh September MET DOWNS IN '07 & '08!

even though we didnt go all the way, the 2006 team is one of my all time favs..we played better than anyone else in the regular season. funny, im still not over the post season....but, thats baseball.
