This is just about best version ever recorded (this is the version that everyone recommends), it's so precise and competent, and there are no mistakes that I can hear. This is a recording of 'Jupiter-The Bringer of Jollity' from the Planets Suite Op. 32 by Gustav Holst(1874-1934). This is Charles Dutoit conducting the 'Ochestre symphonique de Montréal', the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. It really works well with pictures of the planets, and Jupiter of course! Enjoy!

  • Is it strange that I want the music for this for Christmas? When I say music, I mean like the score; I already have the CD.

  • @KittyGonzalez123 No, not at all; after I bought the CD, I decided I couldn't afford not to have the score. The one I went for is 'The Planets: In Full Score' - would definitely make a great present :)
