My Grandpa is the shortest of us all, but for one who serve in WW2 He's the tallest in our eyes.
My Grandpa asked me "Bryan what do you want to be when you grow up?"
I answered "Well grandpa i want to be a soldier just like you."
And when i came back from my first tour in Iraq, he said to me,
"You could had been a doctor, a lawyer, anything you wanted to, and i would had been proud of you, but you choose to be a US Marine, and for that I am so proud of you, i cant even say it in words.

Some chooses to be doctors, lawyers, dentists, etc and live a good life.

Others chooses to fight to preserve the rights for them to do so.
