Nick's P.O.V:
I heard yelling downstairs and guessed it was Joe and Kevin. About an hour later there was a knock on my door. Amanda climbed off my lap and under my bed sheets. I walked to the door and opened it slightly.
"hey"
"oh hey Kev"
He walked in and I shut the door making sure to lock it again.
"Amanda?"
"Hmm"
She sat up and rubbed her eyes.
"Your going to be fine. Alright. Joes not coming near you anytime soon"
Amanda nodded and Kevin walked towards me.
"What happened?"
"I dont know. Mom and dad came home after you went upstairs. Dad held him down on the couch and mom told me to go upstairs."
Kevin whispered. I nodded and continued talking with Kevin.
"Nick?"
Amandas hoarse voice pulled me out of my conversation with Kevin.
"Yea?"
"I'm tired"
"Alright. Why dont you go to your room and get ready for bed."
"kay"
I followed her across the hall and sat down by her door while she changed for bed. I heard pairs of footsteps coming up the stairs and saw Joe with an angry look on his face. He glared at me and kicked my shin.
"Joseph, come on"
my dad said. I closed my eyes and leaned my head against the wall. He can't seriously be mad at me. I sighed and felt a hand touch my knee. I jumped and opened my eyes.
"Where's Amanda?"
I pointed to the door and my mom knocked.
"Its me sweetie."
"come in"
My mom walked in and shut the door behind her. Im guessing since shes with Amanda I can leave. I got up and walked into the girls room. Kevin was sitting next to Aimee and her head was on his shoulder. Cara looked up with a hopeful look that disappeared quickly when she saw me. I opened my arms and she ran into them and started sobbing. Cara was like an older sister to me. I loved her to death and would never want to see anything bad happen to her.
"Joe's in his room if you want to talk to him"
Cara nodded and wiped away her tears. She walked out the door and Amanda walked in.
"Ready for bed?"
She nodded and walked over to Kevin.
"night Amanda. I love you"
"love you too Kevin"
He kissed her head and she walked over to me.
"Nick?"
Jasmine softly spoke.
"What?"
"I think we need to talk"
"yea me too. But I have a sister to take care of who means the world to me. Your gonna have to wait."
She nodded and looked down. Kevin and Aimee walked out of the room. Amanda grabbed my hand and we walked to my room. I turned off the lights and shut the door.
"Night Amanda"
"Goodnight Nicky"
I smiled and kissed her forehead.
"I love you. Ill be on the floor if you need me"
"love you too"
I grabbed a blanket out of my closet and a pillow of my bed. I crawled onto the floor and lied on my back.

Aw, Nick's starting to care about his little sister. I wonder what's wrong with Joe. He has serious anger issues if he wanted to punch her. And I feel bad for Cara. She just wants her nice boyfriend back. Loved it.
