This is stupid and unrealistic. Students are in the classroom to learn. Teacher are there to help them learn. Stuff happens, but the lack of respect and lack of interest in education makes it difficult to help large numbers of kids who are at different levels to learn. Teachers get a bad rap most of the time. Actually, it take the teacher, child and parent working as a team and taking responsibility for education. That's not always easy to find.

The thought of any of the people in this video attaining a job teaching somewhere scares me. Why not deal with realistic scenarios? Everything demonstrated here is overacted and way over the top.

Often times children are just not motivated by the materials or the individual that is presents them to them. Learning has become a stress induced experience for lots of children. Because some of us don't understand that there are different learning styles. Providing good differential learning materials that allow a child to feel relaxed helps eliminate anxiety, increases confidence and fosters spontaneous learning. Most important is self confidence and harsh judgment destroys it.

I agree with Dylvente, If you're going to show the bad a good should follow.

Same thing I've said with other such videos: it would be better to show an example of good classroom management after showing the bad examples. It's easy to talk about good classroom management and what not to do, but it's more challenging to model an effective response to the disrespectful behavior so common in classrooms.

I love the beginning you can actually hear the genius directing this crap saying "action",
Sorry, but this is stupid.

All great stuff, but it assumes that most of the students in class are actually interested in learning. In most cases, this is true, but I teach an alt. ed guitar class. I'm glad I didn't fit the bill of any of your "teachers" ^_^. I don't yell, I don't accuse students or make up ridiculous punishments which don't match the behavior. However, the only time learning happens in the class is when the most disruptive 10 students are gone for the day. I feel like I've tried everything with them.
