Amptweaker TIght Metal sound clip

This is the Amptweaker Tight Metal into a Peavey 6505 2X12 combo on the Rhythm (Clean) channel. I'm using an 18v adapter instead of 9v on the TIght Metal. The gain on the amp was at 2 and was very clean. The EQ was pretty much at noon and crunch on the amp was off. The signal chain is Fender Jim Root Strat (EMG 81), Bullet coil cable, Boss TU-3, Tight Metal, Peavey 6505. The video was taken with an iPhone 4.

hey i also have the tight metal pedal- do you notice a difference if you use a 9v power source instead of 18v?

@rock612on Yes, I notice a big difference. 18V makes the tone more rounded, less compressed and a bit fuller. It's got a bit more headroom on the gain and more openness on the tone knob. It's great for a thicker tone for big chords. 9V is a bit better for faster/tighter riffing. Both power options are great and have their uses.
