Cruel to be Kind

Hope everyone remembers this one:))) I always liked it a lot:)) It was funny how I recorded this...I had originally did a version of the song filming in my "studio" then I thought I would try to do a recording of adding harmonies,...using the audacity program...and then I thought...what can I do for the video? So I used my other video...and it lined up which is strange, I must play it the same way every time! LOL..which was weird:) At any rate thanks so much for taking the time to listen:)

This song is a blast from the past. I remember Nick Lowe having a hit with this in the UK in 1979.

Here's a tip for recording. As audacity will allow you multiple channels. Record a rhythm track for the tempo using either midi or even a stick and a box :)

Record your other tracks along to the percussion track. Then mute the percussion track for the final mix. Hey presto!! a tight mix :)
