Roberto A. is much better than Jonas Kaufmann. I'm glad that Angela Gh. return to R. Alagna and they will sing together again. I have the DVD and he is much better in Faust than Kaufmann as well as in Tosca. But I'd rather see her singing with Rolando Villazon in Traviata which to me is better than Roberto Vargas.

Alagna is not in the same league as Gheorghiu. Its a shame. Thankfully both her and Hvorostovksy's talent speaks for itself and saves this video.

I was kinda wondering wheather it was a dog or a guy singing. So much barking. Is there ONE note that he's not sharp on? That first high note was an a natural, and not a flat one. Too bad the score calls for an a flat.
