Batman Needs a Dollar

People lose their jobs every day. Sometimes they deserve it, but oftentimes those people in the unemployment line are there for no fault of their own, laid off by their employers who simply can't afford to pay them anymore. That fall from financial independence can put some people in a dark place, and it can make the climb back up incredibly difficult. Some turn to drugs or alcohol, less than honest work, or outright crime, doing things they never expected themselves to do, making it even harder to escape the darkness.


Misfortune can befall even the best of us, and Batman is no exception. Here, he struggles in the mean streets of Regina, far from his native Gotham. One would think that surely Batman, the Caped Crusader himself, could find some crime to fight here of all places, Regina being one of the crime capitals of Canada! Unfortunately, the Dark Knight Detective has happened upon dark times and is losing his will to live, let alone make a living. Sometimes it's hard to make an honest dollar in this dog eat dog world, and even Batman can be pushed deeper into the darkness when desperation calls.
