SNES Kid (PeanuT Gets A Super Nintendo)

Predating the infamous 'N64 Kid' by approximately five years, Day One in the 'Days That Changed My Life' series sees PeanuT receiving his very first games console at the tender age of 6. No more playing NES at other people's houses, this was the 16-bit era. PeanuT went on to be a Nintendo fanboy, and is currently #3 on the Wii preorder list at his local 'Game' branch.

Oh No! That's was the dreaded 50hz PAL European one that aweful slowdown and huge ass borders all around the screen.

I remember back when I was a kid my family was cheap as hell, and got me the NES and the SNES 4 years later used at GameStop. So they got me the systems the year after they were launched, I didn't know this as a kid, but I know now because I have looked back at history and I remember the year I got these. Stupid grey boxes from GameStop and than the system inside. Of course it still worked, but I would of liked a brand new one.
