N700TS is the first Lockheed L-1011 to land at Kansas City Downtown airport (KMKC). She is also the latest addition to the Airline History Museum. Recorded on January 29, 2010.
Great video...couldn't be too much/many! Our next priority is the DC-3 in the air and simultaneously as volunteers and funds permit, returning Connie to the air. DC-3 will be "quicker" (after 17+ years in restoration!) for a number of reasons, one being flight crew.
On the one hand, I'm very happy this TriStar has a home with the Museum.
On the other hand, though, I think their TOP priority ought to be getting their Constellation back in the air, and I fear that this new acquisition will take resources away from any effort to do so. For the Connie to be permanently glued to the ground is, in my opinion, a great tragedy. It should be the Museum's primary goal.
