Aloha on Rails Interviews Alan Gates of Yahoo

Aloha on Rails sat down with Alan Gates, an Architect at Yahoo for Pig, a high level language for Hadoop, the open source Map Reduce framework. Alan will be presenting two talks at Aloha on Rails, the Hawaii Ruby on Rails Conference. The first talk, "Thinking in Map Reduce", introduces the data processing paradigm. The second talk, "Intro to Pig", shows how to quickly and easily write Map Reduce jobs with Pig.
