I am fortunate and blessed enough to be able to learn from him. He is a true master. Not only will he show exactly what he plays, but during sargam riyaaz he will sit and play with the students. Take your fastest jhala and he will play sargam double speed over it. I have sat a foot away from him and watched him do it. Music must have technique and emotion, not just one or the other. These are his words. I must say once again that I am blessed and so fortunate to learn from him.

I agree with CarnaticConnection.. I think he is definitely the best sitar player in the world at this time. I never ever tire of listening to him
