to all the idoits out there, vonage only works for smart people, ie people who read the manuals in the box, actually listen to the tech support when they call, people who follow the directions that are given when they do stuff like porting their numbers from other phone companies and so forth and so forth. And the most important part, HAVING A PROPER BROADBAND INTERNETCONECTION, CAPPABLE OF HANDELING ALL THE SHIT IN YOUR NETWORK!!! Its called an INTERNET PHONE COMPANY for a reason. cust since01

This guy had no issues because he was a customer for 4 years, still had his equipment, etc. The disconnection fee is only if you cancel within the first year of your one year contract, and since they never received the other guy's equipment, they charged him for it (both CLEARLY) stated in the terms of service.

Vonage Suck! I don't recommend it to anyone. I had it for about 4 months now, and the service is so bad, so terrible, that I have called customer service 47 times in that 4 months period, Can you believe it!? Too many service interruptions. The first 2 weeks everything was great, and then the quality of phone service was so choppy that you can't have a conversation with anyone. If you considering in getting Vonage, I can guarantee you, YOU WILL REGRET IT! So what I did, I canceled my service.

Listen to the other guys regarding his experience in cancelling vonage service. It's horrible. I don't believe just words, he did call with speakers on in the video, so he is the most beleived. by the way I am gonna cancel it tomorrow as they don't open 24/7
