  • jojo- feel free to call me it has been 32 months since transplant. bone marrow transplant and stem cell transplant are the same thing. bone marrow is an older term used when the donor would have marrow removed via the bone marrow. with progress, medicine can now remove stem cells much easier. if you are on facebook look me up. i post alot about what is going on with me. my name is roger contreras. there is a lot to know about transplant if you are a patient. i am more than willing to share

  • is the stem cell less risky then the bone marrow, my son has CGD,and will need the bone marrow transplant soon.But i am worried that it maybe too risky for him.
