The Hungarians were betrayed by the west. Radio Free Europe broadcasted to the people of Hungary that if they rose up they would be supported. When Soviet gangsters invaded and imposed their Quisling, Kadar in power the US and Britain did not lift a finger. Of course this would not be the first time the west betrayed people from the East. It all started at Yalta.

We won our freedom on that day. Even if only for a little while, we still fought hard and gave our lives for the cause.

good video but very short. this issue needs longer video, search for more on yt ;) shame on the world nobody had enough bravery and courage to help Hungary in the need of time. God blees the heroes of '56 ! Never forget how those who sacrificed their lives for the nations independence and freedom.
