  • Im sure the person doing the introduction is Adrian Finnigan!! Can anyone confirm this or maybe its just me

  • It was indeed Adrian. He was the primary continuity announcer on BBC World up until he left for CNN. He was pretty good I always thought. Did you know Adrian read the news on BBC Radio 2 from time to time?

  • Does anyone think, the world tooday music theme in 1999, is a bit similar to the current music used for World Business Report today on BBC World News?

  • The current World Business Report music was introduced along with this music in 1997. The BBC have never changed it for 12 years now! In 1997, BBC World's theme music was refreshed and World News, The World Today and WBR all had similar themes.

  • he was a presesenter on bbc world too

  • ah ha thanks for that yeah i had heard that somewhere he was the best BBC WORLD presenter i thought had a shock when i flicked to CNN and saw him there!!

  • Great Video. Do you have the World Today's Opening pre-1995. I used to love their extended/special opening of the World Today prior to 1995
