@karlsmith00 Did you listen to the video? He didn't say wearing hijab makes you innocent. He said muslim women are innocent because they grow up in a clean environment,whether you wear a wear a scarf or not.

I think his point can best be summed up by the statement: "Not all of you are acting like sahaba, yet we want the women to act like sahabiyaat". This is one of the major hypocrisies facing our ummah. On the one hand, Muslim countries have some of the highest viewership of pornography, but then the men abuse and mistreat women! So many men don't lower their gaze as the Qur'an commands, but then complain about the women.

Wa'alaikum assalam.

Believe me, I am sure Shaikh Hamza knows this information but again, can you point out to me where he says Muslim women shouldn't wear hijab? He clearly indicates that Muslim women should wear hijab and that if they don't, they have to admit that they are going against Allah's command. This information is well established. His point was that the men should not abuse and mistreat women because of this, as it only pushes them away from Islam.

@ahmur50 (Pare 2) our Prophet (saw) about hijab and then Allah revealed the verse 24:31,even the hadith of sahih Al-Bukhari Volume 6, Book 60, Number 313 : was Narrated by Umar (ra) & He said, "O Allah's Apostle! Good and bad persons enter upon you, so I suggest that you order the mothers of the Believers (i.e. your wives) to observe veils." Then Allah revealed the Verses of Al-hijab. from brother Hamza I do not expect the answer like this, but if you are ok with this that’s your choice.

@ahmur50 (Part 1)Salamalaykum, According to the Surah 24:31, women doesn’t have any choice about hijab, when ever we are talking about the command of Allah and we admit, after that there is no justification by saying story, history, or some people are doing the opposite, as Muslim we only go by Qur’an and sahih hadith of the prophet (saw), brother Hamza was saying the history of the time of Umar (ra) and that’s unacceptable because of Umar (ra) him self complained to our

If you listened to the video once more, he made it clear from the beginning that hijab is without a doubt shar'i and women should definitely wear hijab, or at least understand that it is something they are required to do. He did not focus on this, since it is well established.

However, he mentioned the turban to illustrate to the men that while it is easy to demonize women for not wearing hijab, we should try to understand that it is not easy and they may be ridiculed due to it.

WHAT EVER IS ALLAH'S COMMAND IT'S FARZ. WHY HE IS COMPAREING HIJAB WITH TURBANS? THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT TURBAN IN THE QUR'AN BUT HIJAB.
