Just Water, ceramic drip filter works as well as the high end British ones only at a fraction of the cost! This half-micron filter removes water-borne bacterium with a 0.5 micron efficiency which exceeds NSF standards. The ceramic filter can be cleaned with a soft brush at least 100 times, and it produces 14 gallons of drinking water per day. This system includes a ceramic filter, filter sock, and spigot. Simply double stack two clean five gallon buckets with lids, drill a 1/2" hole in the bottom of the top bucket and through the top of the bottom buckets lid, place sock over filter and install it in the bottom of the top bucket. Drill a 3/4" hole on the side and near the bottom of the bottom bucket and install the spigot. Fill the top bucket with water from a lake, rain, tap, river or stream and in an hour you will have bacteria free water to drink in the bottom bucket. Non-returnable, buckets not included.

  • how many gallons of water can you filter before having to get a new filter and sock?

  • @geanienut The information provided from the company says that you only need to change the filter out every 6-8 months. That you may clean the ceramic element 100 or so times with a soft brush or damp cloth. The sock never has to be replaced.

  • Ouch shipping on this is pretty salty. 29 bucks for the product and 14 to ship

  • @zameul35 I would recommend FedEx Smartpost to ship the order. The shipping price does include the package protection fee.

  • @zameul35 I would recommend that you use the FedEx Smartpost option. The shipping price includes package protection.

  • Annotate a link (to the CTD site with the specific item) in the video or at the very least in the 'More Info' section.

Make it easy for us to buy this :)

  • @Desette Link has been added to the more info. Sorry for that.

  • @fire1169101 A bit much are you nuts you get 14 gallons a day and you can wash it 100 times wow that sure is alot of free water....why dont you go to the store and buy bottles of water at a dollar and a half...to equal all the water you get with tbhis filter.....I am so happy with mine!!!!

  • Will this filter out chemical leached into water by plastic? Your responses is appreciated! :) Thanks

  • Awesome just assembled mine, easy as can be!!!

  • Just spent 20 minutes making one of these per the video instructions using buckets and spigot already on hand. Substituted 3 of the Camp-354 filters for the one filter used in this video. And am using water from my very hard and calcium rich well (which stinks to high heaven of sulphur) for my test run. After 1 hr. I have 2+ gallons of water that not only tastes like bottled water, but also has no offensive odor ... Love It !!!

  • I can't believe someone below actually said that they thought $29 was "a bit much" for this product. Seriously? 14 gallons a day... scrub clean 100 times... That is a lot of water! Many filters on the market cost double, triple, even quatruple this price!

Whoever complained about the price... I hope they are stockpiling plenty of good quality marjuana seeds in their survival supplies. They are going to need them in order to maintain that "high" they are clearly enjoying! Lol!
