  • My great uncle once raced a greyhound. However when it was for retirement he took the dog home as a pet instead of putting him in a home. He then left the racing industry and got another job because he decided he didn't wanna race them any more.

  • i love greyhounds!!

  • @brucealantorres The problem isn't how they're treated when they're racers, it's what happens to them afterwards... =/

  • sentite come piange poveretto.. la museruola mettetela a questa stronza!

  • @lovesbriardi Welcome to the way of the world! No matter what path you take your abusing something!

I suppose what we don't know wont hurt us hey?

  • @lovesbriardi- there is nothing about how that greyhound is behaving in this video that would indicate abuse. racing greyhounds are treated well because happy dogs are better racers than unhappy dogs. do you have a greyhound?

  • a few words for what you are doing to these dogs - immoral, cruel, indecent, ruled by greed, ...................

  • Cruel! In the US more than 50,000 greys are pulled off the track each year. About half are taken in by rescue organizations and fostered, then adopted out. The figures for the puppies with no racing aptitudes destroyed at breeding kennels is estimated to be about 100K/year. The kennel owners would rather destroy these puppies and do not work with rescue organizations because they take up space and feeding costs money. Fortunately many of the states that have greyhound racing have outlawed it.

  • And what if he can not run anymore? Take it off and the next pick?

Should perhaps time itself is running well in the figure.

  • let's look how fast you can run?

  • @Saartje05

Yer when i went to see the greyhound i adopted the kennels were full of greyhounds. Unfortunatly i could only adopt one.

  • Actual i think i can agree with you on that. I believe that if the dogs are well trained and looked after (e.i the ones in this video) you may or may not agree with that then racing can be a good experiance for the dogs. However it is the idiots who g in to the racing industry not knowing what they are doing that should be banned from racing. Along with the just plain cruel who like to call them selfs people..........
