Boiling pond water with soda can alcohol stove. It took about 10 minutes to boil 1.5 quarts of pond water. I didn't get the taste test on camera but it still had a little wang. Get your outdoor gear at http://sunflowerammo.com

  • That's cool, but I don't really get how it's working.

  • @m16mang It is hard to see but there are a set of holes in the center of the top can. There are also 5 evenly spaced holes around the outer top of the can. The center holes are just used to fill thus the penny blocking the holes after filling. The alcohol burning on top creates heat and pressure below causing the 5 outer holes to become jet burners. There are better instructional videos around but I wanted to show one being used in the field.
