Hammer Tutorial - Ladder in HL2

Note: This kind of ladder is non-functional in Counter-Strike: Source, Left4Dead or Team Fortress 2. Use func_ladder instead.

The tutorial in text:

I will show you how to make a ladder in hl2 like this
1,
First place a "prop_static"
2,
Now go to "world model" and find a the ladder you want
3,
Then place the ladder where you want it
4,
Now find "func_useableladder"
5,
now drag the "func_useableladder" to the bottom of the ladder
6,
Now drag the point in the mith of the "func_useableladder" to where the end of the ladder should be
7,
go to properties in the "func_useableladder" and give it a name
8,
Now find "info_ladder_dismount"
9,
Place the "info_ladder_dismount" go to properties and set "laddername" to the name of your "func_useable_ladder
10,
Copy the "info_ladder_dismount" at the button of the stair and at top like this
11,
Now youre done!

There's no FUNC_LADDER

Do I need a Static prop for the ladder? I'm using "Dev textures only rule".

@GLaDvMan You can use a texture too,the static prop is just so u can see there is a ladder. You can even make a invisible ladder by only using the func_useableladder.
