This is the install video for my HID Projectors that i ordered from www.FuturevisionHID.com. I have had HID's before but it was time for some projectors. It took a little bit of work but it wasnt too bad. It actually took me longer to separate the lens from the housing then it did to install the projector. The housings i am using are NOT STOCK. They are "diamond clear" so they allow the projector to shine through without being "diffused".

After aiming these things, and taking a short run around my building, they seem very well. The silicon should be dry by now so tonight i will get to drive with them finally.

  • those look stupid btw

  • @viper306m only someone who doesn't have a car would say that. Well...actually a little kid who has been raised with no father and only a woman would say that. lol

  • He can still use the halogen high beams. The projectors he's using is similar to the Morimoto Matchbox projectors except TheRetrofitSource doesn't charge an arm and a leg for them. A lot of people use these projectors to retrofit their fog lights. The Morimoto Mini H1 is definitely a better projector though.

  • @kcg795 actually these are hi/low projectors and the halogens are completely disabled. Fuck retrofitsource (whoever they are). You get what you pay for. Everyone goes the cheap ass route and it ALWAYS bites them in the ass. Also, You dont know they are "better" if you havent used these and dont know anything about them. So far its been a year and NO problems........but ya, you know that those other ones are "definitely better". lol -

  • dang cant believe you've had the sop that long. Seems like yesterday lol

  • @AlexR4513 no shit bro tell me about it! lol

  • @meade916 No Steve don't say that LOL! TheRetroFitSource is the greatest HID source right now. Best customer service, great products, and has a forum full of nice wonderful headlight projector retrofits.

  • Oncoming traffic thanks you for putting the projectors in instead of just the HIDs.

  • @MiguelRelvas1 Just the HID kit.. Ballasts and bulbs. I got mine at HIDSRUS.com but any vendor will do. I have an Lancer Evo btw.

  • this might be a stupid question. but is the projector JUST the lens? u still need your HID bulb of your choice right?

  • These morimoto minis are great but the fx-r's are much much better with wider beam and sharper cutoff.

  • Sometimes I get caught up in the stereo side of your Tahoe and forget all the other work and DIY vids youve made. Thanks for posting this type of information!!

  • I have a question: My car is a Mk2 Fiat Punto and the car have the projectors already. So, what should I have to buy? Maybe just the HID lights (4300K H4) and the ballast, huh? PLEASE ANSWER ME.

  • I love the Sharp cut off that projector headlights offer. Is it only that Sharp with 8000k HID's? Where did you purchase this brand of headlights. I know of retrofit. Did you purchase from them?

  • can anyone tell me how to make my fog lights turn on when i turn on my headlights on a yukon or tahoe
