Rats are actually excellent pets. 52 is definitely excessive. But i had two as a kid and they came when i called them by name, were extremely tame.. most are hand raised from birth. They never bite and you can feed them ANYTHING. Any leftovers.. they will eat anything. Great pets for kids. I'm totally serious.

Eh...not cool that she keeps them all caged up so closely and feeds them chocolate. Suprised they're actually alive. Other than that she keeps good care of them. Having domesticated rats will not give you diseases....that's just fucking ignorant ans shame on THE LEARNING CHANNEL for spreading that garbage myth. I will say though that owning rats is a hard thing because they don't live so long and that is why she hoards and belongs on animal hoarders not "strange addictions".

i used to have TWO rats and just two of them were a mess and i cleaned the cage like every day. i bet 53 must be totally gross

That's so mean, how could you not stand your MOTHER, just because she likes rats!? I mean she's your mother and all she's done, is found love somewhere else, because you couldn't give it to her. And instead of helping her through this, you just walk away and saying "I dunno if I want her in my life" well you've done more disgusting things in your life when you were a baby and she didnt say that she didnt want you in her life did she? this is just not fair, u spoiled brat!
