@Lonao ur an idiot if ya think only christians have it out for gay people. Even the atheist government of the soviet union was agains't homo sexuality and gay marriage. So try again.
-
@Lonao europe is also in global decline right now. Look at the euro. Being ahead in civil rights does nothing to improve ones society. China is even further behind the US in civil rights yet there society are in the stages of eclipsing america and the euro zone economically and eventually politically and militarily.

and the gay thing is all a bunch of political mud slinging. the gays i know don't wanna be married in a church and most churches i know won't ...that is fine but the government doesn't have the right to say who they will recognize and who they won't even gay haters know this and could care less as long as it doesn't infringe on their rights and a ban on gay marriage infringes on everyone's rights because that means they can ban/recognize what ever the government wants

@biancademonet look you guys know that if anything did happen they most certainly wouldn't impose any type of law more extreme than the Constitution, it would be more free than the what we have now, yes there would be fundamentalist who want certain things banned, gays included but it won't happen because they also believe that we all have free will. and it doesn't matter if the us was founded on christian principles they were persecuted and wanted to protect others no matter how they differed

@kenrg You'd likely have the help of the Keystone State in this...first we have to "geld" the political power of fundies here. All we need to do is sic taxes on those violating their churches tax exempt status by using it as a front for political activism....
-
@Lonao It doesn't, but DOMA, Prop 8 and their clones most certainly violate the US Constitution, which btw trumps ALL LAWS including a certain Bronze age book...
-
@erictheawful69 We were founded by people FLEEING religious tyranny. Try imposing "Biblical Law: on my home state fundie YOU ARE NOT WELCOME in the Keystone State...my state was FOUNDED on FREEDOM of Religion, INCLUDING FREEDOM FROM RELIGION, ...we CRUSHED wannabe theocrats before and will do so again...sic semper mors theocratis et tyrannis!

what a bunch of nuts. They are bordering on treason.

@circe888 , The US government was founded by Christians. Christians wrote the US and SC Constitution. From the 1500s -1776 there were primarily only Christians
who were immigrating to the new world. The founding fathers never planned or thought they would have to deal with completely different religions.

@Lonao EXACTLY! The pastor of a church decides who to and not to marry in that congregation! Quit worrying about Cesar. Cesar can marry two donkey's to a cat if he so desires in his Earthly law. That doesn't affect ANYTHING at church or in the scriptures on what Christians are commanded to do in their own lives. READ THE BOOK and REPENT of trying to fill in any perceived gaps of God! God is working ye of little faith!!
I may not agree with defederalization's comments about loosening SCs biblical laws, but I sure do appreciate him posting this video. Thank you.

Cory had alot of good things to say even if I don't agree with the religiosity of his goals.
