A demo on Enable Training and Consulting's STEEL Game, featured at the NI booth in St. Louis at the 2011 FIRST Championships.

An iPhone is used to drive a TETRIX robot via a computer running LabVIEW.

Real-time feedback and a cool user interface were developed entirely in LabVIEW for LEGO MINDSTORMS

  • Those are very expensive "paper weights" :)

  • The red light is part of the light sensor to determine if the robot is on the line. (Scoring only) We are actually driving via the accelerometer data from the iPhone.

  • mmm u know i'm almost conviced the red light is used as a feedback to guide the car

    but i may be wrong

  • That looks like a line follower man

what's the purpose of the red light ?

  • I love your "paper weights" holding the mat down.
