LAKE PETITCODIAC PRESERVATION ASSOCIATION where are you coming from? The Alma lobster fisher-people have just reported the best year ever even though prices are down. The lobster shops in Alma are saying the same! Do you really want CRA poking around in the sheds and barns of the fokes in Alma? Down-river the water is always moving and the wildlife (eagles, shags, geese & ducks) are still above the causeway. Your neighbors are gaining valuable land above the structure! What's the problem???????
@Cthulhoop After one year of the Petitcodiac Lake Gate being opened and everything lost, the wild life has moved out, the small mouth bass are gone, and the Lake is filled in now with mud, soon to be nothing more than a polluted field. The volume of water above is now choked off and soon all will regress with the entire loss of the River itself. My answer to you Cthulhoop is "YES" it was that dangerous, it has happened, and its just another result of poor government, the Facts speak for itself.
You LAPPA members really need to stop crying about the Petitcodiac River. If opening the gates was as dangerous as your fear mongering makes it out to be, do you really think the government would have done it?
@caliguselongatus And what fiction are you full of, your facts are simply untrue...
