Holy crap, was that the internet? I remember we had a Commodore (don't remember if it was the Vic 20). I remember the tape deck but that's it lol.

I actually laughed out loud watching cassette tapes tumble onto the table. I mean, I should feel old; I was already in high school when this commercial aired... but I can't help it. It was faintly lame back then and it's hugely lame now. :D

i grew up with a c64 and it will always have a spot in my heart and mind. i can remember surfing the local BBS's with the blazing 300 baud modem and talking to a chat bot for 10 minutes before realizing it wasn't human. ah memories
