    A mistake: The photograph presented at 18:02 - 18:45 shows a couple of more-or-less intact houses floating in the water. The caption above the photo says 'Mid-Pacific debris sighting: September 2011'. In fact, this photograph was taken by the US Navy two days after the tsunami on March 13, 2011 near Sendai, close to the coast of Japan. It's doubtful that houses will remain intact for long in the ocean.

    We have seen these floats here in Kodiak over a month ago, also a large group of styrofoam floats,,,large with snaps and oyster shells growing on them.
