i remember when this movie came out and went to video. it looked depressing and completely uninteresting (maybe boys who like robot toys would like it). my daughter MADE me watch it the other night and it's absolutely wonderful! i've watched it three times and even loved the extra part about how they made the sounds for the film. a must see!

It's horrible how Wall-e critiques consumerism and many other faults yet Disney-Pixar still creates toys, goods, and etc to sell. I loved watching Wall-e and I definitely wanted to buy some Wall-e products but now that I look at my Wall-e plushie, I feel entirely guilty. Has anyone else noticed the irony in this?? I'm sure they meant well by critiquing through the movie but I wish they actually listened to their own critiques! Goodness. So effed up. :( What a cycle.
