Scene prior is excellent of illustration of the constituencies dividing of spoils. Capra does a great job. Cooper & Stanwyck are excellent in roles.

Cooper and Stanwyck both were great beyond words in this film.
Who cares if the ending wasn't perfect? Together they've made us remember for nearly 70 years now.
Along with Capra. Little did he know . . .
