I'm not in anyway associated or affiliated with the Zorin OS Team, I'm simply presenting one of the most recognizable competitors for the average user's desktop/laptop.

Thanks for your support.

  • tell me 1 thing I play games is zorin good for games???

  • @TheKlisa Yes, older games can work in Zorin OS, but more modern games might struggle. COD4 and Assassin's Creed and below, work fine.

  • Okay, now compare Windows 7 and Zorin 5 in the gaming area? Yes, you did note a single game, however a single game doesn't do it, compare many games.

Will BF3 run on Zorin? How about an indie game like Terraria? There are many programs that don't run on Zorin/linux that run on Windows.

Windows beats Linux in the gaming front.

Linux beats it in every other area though.

  • @AlmostAGamer Truth...you are 100% correct.

  • so the answer is Linux or Windows guys?

  • Linux are only a bad copy of windows guyz.....

  • install gentoo

  • Inherently secure yes, but keep in mind you are always inherently in danger as well. This is the nature of open source. You could download a package for your Linux system that is very secure but then at the same time download an untrusted app that could render parts of your linux kernel inoperable. It is easy for applications to break the inherit trust of its users by requiring them to type in their pass for system wide access. This vulnerability makes Linux no less secure than Windows.

  • I would be a full time linux user if it weren't for what I do and some applications I depend on. A few of them I can run under wine but a lot of them I can't.

  • @DrDeso1 same here, windows 8 is going to fail.

  • @annom12 google...

  • @JOOP60606

lol. The price of the new pc is of course including windows 7.

  • This comparison was pleasant as fuck!

  • i think windows 8 will overpower everything and will come with samller casing and faster preformance as well asup to 2 - 4 graphics card slots and erm.... fuck it... xD
