@kozas0 ninja is the american name for them, ER is for the Europeans.

Why they name this moto sometimes as "ninja" and other times just as "er6f"? Is there a difference?

wonder if anyone can help, i'm learning to ride soon and going straight for my direct access @ 21 and I'm looking for a fun middleweight. I've looked at the ER-6F for yonks and love it, but read that anyone over 6ft would find it a bit of a pinch riding it cause of leg room. Would the versys be a better option for someone 6.2ft-ish or could i go for the first love?

xj6 sucks. The engine is apathetic until 8000rpm. However, it is well design, comfortable, good feelings on the brakes, suspension is a bit soft to my taste.
ER6 without any doubt !!! Go twinz !

@LocustsAreSwarming Vietnam have a 200% tax on cars (not bikes). A Fiat 500 is 62,500 euro there. Thats just crazy!

I know this is an old comment, but also worth considering is that the gsxf is a four cyl engine vs the er-6f being a twin. A usual trade off will be more low end acceleration for the 2 cyl vs more top end speed from the i4. Knowing your riding style is a good place to start before choosing.
