Torn - Fatal Release

orn was a Finnish Death metal band, formed in Turku, in 2000. The Band Saw it's rise in 2000, when Aki Järvinen and Atte Mäkelä decided to turn Shadows of Sunset ( Formely known as "Imposed Silence" ) into a Death Metal band and change the name to Torn. The band released it's first and last album "Violent Ecstacy" in 2002. After the independent demo "Wrapped in a Mantel of Anger" ,recorded in 2004, band however splited-up.
Band also featured members from Demigod, and the same guys have also been/ are members of band such as Archgoat, Torsofuck, Deep Red and Torture Killer.

This is from their first and last full-length "Violent Ecstacy" of 2002

Awesome. Brutal but not boring like most "brutal" bands. Plus, they do it without constant 1000 blastbeats per minute.
