On Tuesday April 15th an "art" project was put up at the Student Center at the University of Maine at Farmington. It is of note that we did not put on this display and we do not support this display. Also, people were threatened with arrest if they picked up the flags off the ground.

i servired so people could be idle and still stay alive. My son will probablly will not go to a university but i will not stand for behavior that is not good for the republic of tejas, if you burn my flag, if you stepo on MY flag, if you disrespect my flag:OUR FLAG' I havge the 1ST ammendment right to EXPRESSS my SELF

personally i believe that putting the american flag on the ground and having people walk on it is extremely disrespectful to this country and to the people who have served to keep that flag strong but i also think that it is their right under the republic which that flag stands for to do what they see fit with that flag

Its called "ART" and "ART" can be displayed without limit. People are free to their opinion but art just like Music is open for interpretation to what ever the artist finds willing.
See it's foolish people like this that stopped natural naked art to come to america many many years ago.
