NSW is coming out of drought, for the first time in 9 years. Every 9 yrs a drought usually occurs in the same place, or drought relief in the same place. It is the moon's tidal half-cycle. In question time once a few years ago at an Australian farmers conference, one person asked, why is it that you always get extra heavy rains at the end of a drought? Hmm..any ideas..?
