Galactic Command Online - Planetfall Transition Sequence

Galactic Command Online is the new game by space/planetary combat veterans 3000AD. The game is due out in 2011.

This movie is a real-time in-game space to planet transition sequence showing off some of the technologies in the game.

Nice to know that whill be F2P but whit limited features,hmmm .Many players whill be desapointed! Btw, i am a huge fan of space simulations and i playing Freelance online mod and Taikodom online,nice games just try it ppl, thill GCO get finished!

From what I read on the website this is all PRE ALPHA, if the Graphics and controls continue to be polished , this game will have a serious stand off against EVE. There is a confirmed F2P (Free 2 Play) with limited features and a P2P (pay to play) that gives you complete access to everything. I would love to see what the guys at 3000AD could do with this and the Crytek 2 or 3 engines. Looks good so far, will be following this, love the idea!

I'll be looking forward to the complexity of the previous games, with the added bonus of actually walking around your own ship (and hopefully boarding and fighting aboard enemy ones!?). Derek Smarts ideas have always been way ahead of his time, only now is technology (and the gaming industry hopefully) catching up.

Wow, looks like a lot of hard work and effort went into this. Last space MMO I played was Darkspace and thats pretty much a 2D game with a very dedicated following.

Good luck on the game and hope it comes out great. There's a lot of people looking for someone to make their space dreams a reality.
