Can you use this phonr for messaging  as well as calls? And can you use the camera as a video call? Thanks

Yes, it comes with all the other features of a mobile phone including SMS & MMS.. There is no forward facing camera for video calling.

I was wonder if this phone has got a simcard slot? If so It can work as normal cell phone ??

Yes the phone will take '3' sim cards and works as a normal phone.

I have a skype in number. I understand from 3's website that it will work but skype says it does not.

Thanks very informative I ordered one online I got it cheaper online accually $129 instead of $149 but yea anyway yes thats awesome how it has both Camera and Videos Camera thats tops I didn't know the 3 SkypePhone had those features ok so great demonstration yea well done :)
