Premature baby - Nathan's early arrival

This is a video to help capture our sweet baby boys first few months after being born prematurely at 27 weeks; weighing only 1 lb. 10 oz. Nathan is a true miracle, and is now home and loving it. He is up to over 7 pounds and growing stronger and stronger every day.

we were in for 3 months & Nate was able to come home 4 days after he was supposed to have been born. Little girls seem to progress even quicker sometimes, & it sounds like your little one is doing just that - already more than doubled her birth weight! Take advantage of kangarooing; I swear by it, & definitely think it helps in so many ways (for you & your little one). Nate will be 3 next mos. & you would never know he had been a preemie...It's hard, but this will soon be a cherished memory.

He is so precious! I'm 26 weeks into a very high risk pregnancy. Your video has given me inspiration and hope that my son will be fine, no matter when he decides to come out and meet us.

I do wish you all the best and that you're able to make it full term. I can only say that it is AMAZING what they can do these days, and since making this video we now have 2 NICU miracles...Nate born at 27 weeks and Brayden at 30 (just this past June). Both are doing wonderful and you really wouldn't ever know it. If your little one does decide to show up early just remember that although the time goes by so slow at first, t will eventually become a distant memory. Good luck

hi i just wonder how long he was in the nicu for as i gave birth at 27 weeks just over 3 weeks ago now, she was 1 lb 2 0z when she was born she is now 2lb 10 oz now xx

Thank you for sharing this. My daughter was a 28 weeker and is now a sweet (yet tough) little 16 pound 8 month old. Preemies are tough and smart, with a ton of character for their young age, but they are the sweetest little miracles that God could ever give us. And your right, all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us. They are precious little children and they are HIS little children.

I was so touched by your video. I had a baby also at 27 weeks. he was born january 29th of this year weighing 2 pounds 9 ounces. he was in the hospital for 15 weeks. we had lots of surgeries and ups and downs but through faith in God and the love and support of our family we got through it. he has been home almost 3 months and now weighs 12 pounds 9 1/2 ounces. we are truly blesses with our little miracle.

he is beautiful. my daughter was born at 27 weeks weighing 1 pound 10 too. that was on jan 29 08 she is now 9 pounds 12. its so amazing isnt it x x
