I'm not going to hero worship. He is a very talented man. Very artistic. And yes he's easy on the eyes. But the music I could loose myself forever in most REM songs.

I agree, that REM outtakes are usually better then some of the songs on the album it was supposed to be on.
I strongly recommend ''On the fly'' from Live at the Olympia, an outtake from Accelerate which would've made the album better, because in my opinion it's not very good even though they did make a ''louder'' album again, I do like 'Sing for the submarine'' very much, and ''houston''!
