@salmonlasac Good Old Games dot com. A Space Quest collection is available in retail stores, but it only has the VGA remake.

For the longest time, the best places to get old games were abandonware websites and IRC channels, which spread the games to preserve them. Of course, it was still illegal. Digital distribution has since grown up, and it's getting easier to buy classics online. GOG is the poster boy for this development. (It has also made things quite awkward for abandonware sites.)

Oh my god, can you make a 30 year old man cry any more with these memories of a childhood gone long ago? .. I would do ANYTHING to feel the same fire I felt when I was that simple child playing the space quest series .........
