Instead of asking retail employees: "Do you work here?", I ask instead, "Hi, are you on the clock?" before asking a question.

I like when you say , "thank you for calling ____ pharmacy, may I help you?" And the person on the other end says "Is this the pharmacy?"

@BMZ8504 They do this all the time at my place too. What a bunch of jerks. I like how you handled it though, I will try to do the same thing. it would be one less idiot I have to deal with. whats even worse is that I get long time regulars still asking me what times we open and close.The most chilling part is when they don't even fuckin know what the hell they are picking up. And I hate when people come in at exactly 8:59 with insurance problems, or with zero refills.
