Dirty Signs with Kristin! Today, we'll increase your gangsta ASL vocab, and learn the phrase, "It's hard out here for a pimp." Enjoy!
DISCLAIMER: I am NOT an interpreter! I understand that the art of ASL is very complex, and what I do is much closer to "Signed English" as opposed to actual ASL. The phrases I sign in these videos are things I mashed together from individual words I learned on the internet and from friends, and are probably not very close to the actual ASL phrases. If you would like to start learning ASL, I highly recommend it--it's a beautiful language, and there are many good resources out there. With that said, I am not trying to disrespect anyone in the process of making these videos, I'm simply trying to have fun with my friends. If you see me signing something incorrectly, PLEASE let me know, and I will make a new video. Thanks!
Can you do "for" slower? It looks like a friendly salute, is there a proper fingering for it?

@onelifelefttodie You put your index finger to your forehead and kind of flick it outward, so it's like a salute with just one finger. Does that make sense?

@onelifelefttodie However, I would also like to point out that I made this video a while ago (when I was first starting out in learning sign language), and I feel like I've improved a bit in my sentence structure from then. To say this phrase, you would probably sign (I think!) something closer to I - PIMP - I - OUTDOORS - STREET - MY - LIFE - DIFFICULT. I'll be posting a follow-up video sometime soon. Thanks, and sorry for the confusion!
