A three day 270 mile bike trek from Boston to New York in order to raise awareness and funds to end ALS.

Thank you so much for the kind words...don't you just love the motivational message given as the riders were about to take off!

The motivational words of Ms. Cooper (Lou's Crew)

"This is a celebration! Can you feel it in the air? (Cheers) It's a celebration for a lot of reasons. Those of you that are riding for someone, in memory of them, it's a celebration of their lives, and that they got to this point by their courage, by their tenacity, by their bravery. For those of you that are riding for someone that was just diagnosed with ALS it's a celebration of the courage that they're going to have, that they have, to face this disease, and that you'll be there to face it with them. For those of you that are riding that don't even know anybody with ALS, it's a celebration of your ability to join in something that is bigger than yourself, that will make a difference in this world. And for all of us today ~ it's a celebration of hope; it's hope for people that previously for many many years had no hope. When you're riding today, think of it as a celebration of courage and hope. And when you ride out, look at Steve who has been here for the last years to support us, that's the face ... (cheers)......... celebrate today when you get on those bikes, and tackle those hills and you go down the big hill and feel the presents of those we have lost and feel the presents of those people that we need to make a difference for. So ride hard, ride with courage, and we'll support you every way we can. Good luck!
