@suremasyuq fahmicbo got his point, a track for grip races shouldnt be used for drift/drag/burnout (in which tyre deals damage on it). It wouldnt for once in a while, but effect will show after plenty incident. I believe that is why they banned drag battle in Sepang. Unless the authority oftenly maintain the track, for example take a look at Fuji Speedway which used for both drift and grip race the D1GP and also SuperGT
