@jankren Population growth is already being controlled. Around 400,000 Indonesians died early every year from smoking-related illnesses. This is thanks in large part to the government effort at keeping little regulations on tobacco companies and maintaining small taxes. The government is already doing their part in reducing population growth through attrition. Additionally, the subsidizing of contraception to women have been largely successful. Everything else will come with economic progress.

First thing Indonesia needs to do is REDUCE POPULATION GROWTH!
Then we build the economy and the population growth can grow again along with the growth of economy.
