  • The cover art looks a bit as if the artist was trying to out-do "Rubber Soul."

  • One of the greatest record from the British Psych empire.

    I like Faintly Blowing too.

  • @tatunkha how much?

  • @ShineOnCrazyDiamond1 I paid a lot less than that.

  • A psychedelic masterpiece in my opinion from one of the best and largely forgotten psych bands of the 1960's.

  • I don't get this music, but my Dad listens to these guys!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Torkgasmicgirl8 Piper is one of the best albums ever; I must buy Kaledioscope's Tangerine Dream 1st vinyl pressing! Alas it's like 700 punds lol: saving up is in order!

  • @ShineOnCrazyDiamond1 ...I totally agree! Sounds like Sid!..this song wouldn't have been out of place on The Piper at the Gates of Dawn..

  • ah god I've been looking for this forever, I have it on vinyl but couldn't find it anywhere on the internet. thank you so much for posting.

  • I look at it as a first person view of someones acid trip. The captain, the trip leader, being in a daze: lost in the trip. One minute high/low: the mood shifts with the drug. The ever after: thoughts of death and beyond brought on by acid often. The visions of childhood: a near death experience, not so common with acid but happens. Nobody knows where we are: Probably inside a house, warm and cosy, giggling to each other "nobody knows...". My analysis anyway haha

  • The Flip, "Etc ... Room of Percussion" is MUCH better.

  • This sounds so much like Syd Barrett! An awesome thing of course.
