  • @rosemarie443 agreed but still, there was actually a american squad who stod behind the: my lai massacre. But i agree that the US actually did some good things for vietnam, but i still question some of the things that happend during that war. but i guess all armys have some "black sheep". and i truly respect the young men, no older than me. who went over there with only good intentions.

  • @jayjayjokke2 well i can see that ou only know about the action in vietnam from what you read. you see the USA was not the only military personal in vietnam. and several of the VC dressed up like the USA and raided villages and killed and said they were the USA. i guess that you better start reading better books.

  • jesus! i agree that the US tried to do somethings better for the peaople of Vietnam, but they also did some serious shit! and im not just talking about the bombs, agent orange or napalm. Im talking about all the wrapes and the murder on civilians, and have any of you ever heard of something called the "my lai massacre" ? but seriously i respect the young men who went to war because they wanted to do something rigth or good for the vietnamese, but the US was NOT just honorable during that war

  • @gilleslibre NO the US only came to Vietnam because we were asked to help. and the US was not the only military over there fighting this cold action. why should the US apologize when we might not have done the things that you want to believe the US did. don't worry we have been sending them money every since. and we really do not owe them a single dime

  • You work for the State department?

After all was said and done, the US carpet bombed with 1 000 pounds bombs a third world barefoot country for hundreds of billions of dollars, assassinated and napalmed these people and poisoned their rice fields with agent orange, and killed million of the vietnamese.

The US got away with it because Vietnam is a third world country who can't bring the US to justice.

The US should be made accountable, apologize and pay restitution to these people.

  • @gilleslibre you are going back a little to far to 1937, come on get real. and you are saying that the USA never lost a man in vietnam? several of them got blown up by women and children carrying bombs on their bodies. oh, in you eyes the vietnamiese were correct, then why did south vietnam ask the USA to please come help us. you are another person that thinks that only the USA was there fighting, there were thousands of other troops there, and they did the same thing

  • I suppose that you are inspired in your answer by the response of the Japanese concerning their rape of Nanking in 1937.

Why don't you ask the Vietnamese what they think of the USA's little outing in their countryside that saw the death of 4 M of their compatriots, and the long term pollution by the agent Orange of their rice fields that will cripple their health for a long while?

  • @gilleslibre the USA does not have to ask forgiveness, because the USA did nothing wrong. the USA was asked to help south vietnam, and so we did. after we were not the only military force in vietnam, but all of you people think that we were.

  • And when will the US ask forgiveness from the Vietnemeese for this agression of their people?

  • this is so horrible... i still can't understand how people can be like this ..
